These are the homemade bagels that we learned how to make at a cooking class. They are better than any bagels you can buy (except for maybe NYC or Bodo's). They are crispy on the outside, chewy and soft on the inside, and full of awesome bagel flavor. If you love bagels, you have to try making you own - it's a game changer.
